What is cellulite?
Orange peel. Cottage cheese. The surface of a golf ball. Whatever you want to compare it to, cellulite is a problem that affects 90% of women (somehow, most men are immune), and gets worse with age. It's caused when the bands of tissue that hold the subcutaneous layer of fat together start to break down, particularly in areas such as thighs and buttocks. When circulation is impeded, the subcutaneous layer of fat protrudes creating the dreaded dimpled appearance.

What will the lean machine system do for me?
With regular use in conjunction with fatgirlslim firming cream, plus regular exercise and a healthy diet, this unique vacuum massager helps you achieve the appearance of a sleeker, more contoured silhouette by smoothing and toning the skin.

How does the system work?
The device's vacuum-assisted massage action and the energizing caffeine in the cream help increase circulation. This temporarily helps firm and tone the skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Where can I use the system?
The lean machine can be used on cellulite-prone areas including the thighs, buttocks, hips and stomach.

How do I hold the lean machine?
When you are holding the lean machine, place fingertips towards the circular blue release button so you can pause the tool as needed. The heel of your hand will face the controls of the device. For a friendly reminder, we’ve included a sticker on the tool where fingertips should be placed. We recommend that you keep it on as a reminder.

Do I have to use it with fatgirlslim?
You MUST use a cream or gel with the tool at all times to ensure the proper glide. We recommend using the lean machine with fatgirlslim firming cream because the energizing caffeine in the cream however you can use the machine with another product like body butter or body moisturizer to facilitate gliding the machine.

Is the lean machine painful to use?
The lean machine is not painful to use when used properly. As listed in the manual, always start your treatment on a low suction strength. After getting used to the device and treatments, you can gradually increase the intensity. If the machine does not move smoothly or creates sucking noises it's too high. If you experience pain or dark red marks, switch to a lower intensity level. Note that continued use of the machine will result in tolerance for a higher level of suction.

I feel pain using the machine, what do I do?
If you're feeling a pinching sensation, you are not using enough lubrication. Always start your treatment with a generous amount of fatgirlslim firming cream, body butter or moisturizer for glide. If you feel your muscles tensing, lower the suction setting to the lowest setting. Lastly, if the tool is causing pain, the release button is there to stop the tool from working.

How often should I use the system?
Initially, we recommend using the system once a day, for about 3 minutes per leg, and/or 3 minutes on the stomach, working your way up to longer increments of time. After noticing visible results, you can reduce the frequency to three times a week. Keep performing treatments regularly, as the appearance of cellulite can redevelop if you discontinue use

How does it feel to use the tool and how do I know it's working?
When using the tool, you feel a deep massaging action on your skin with moderate suction pulling the skin upward. Your skin should appear pink after use due to circulation, as it indicates the device's effectiveness. When using the tool, if you're tensing your muscles or flinching, you need to turn down the suction. The massaging action of the tool should be comfortable to receive. If the tool feels like it's pinching the skin, add more cream for lubrication.

My skin's turned slightly rosy Is that normal?
Your skin should appear pink after use, as it indicates the device's effectiveness. However, if you experience pain or dark red marks, switch to a lower intensity level.

Can the lean machine be used during pregnancy?
We do not recommend using the lean machine system during pregnancy. When using any of our products in pregnancy it is always best to consult with your doctor on these issues, because he or she is the one who is best qualified to provide medical counsel.

Is there anyone that should not use the lean machine?
The system is not recommended for use if you're pregnant or using blood thinners, or have any of the following conditions: heart condition, diabetes, unexplained or systemic edema, unexplained calf pain, hypersensitive skin, varicose veins, swollen or inflamed areas, skin eruptions, open wounds or scars, rash, eczema or bruises.

How do I clean the lean machine?
Make sure to unplug and remove the power cord from the device before cleaning. Clean the device's surface with a damp cloth or sponge. Clean the rollers by turning on the position 1 (•) setting, and wiping as the roller turns. Clean the vacuum area by removing the screened cover. When cleaning the screen, do not discard the filter (small white piece of fabric under the screen). If you need a complimentary replacement filter, please contact bliss customer service at 888-243-8825. Do not use any chemicals for cleaning.

Can my friend try the machine after I've used it?
We recommend cleaning the tool after use before allowing a friend to try it.

Is there a warranty on the tool?
There is a 1 year Limited Warranty. You must register your warranty within 90 days after purchase for warranty coverage. The limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, but you may have other rights depending on the law in your place of residence.
